WATCH ME GO!!!

I can't believe Will is already 7 months old. It is amazing what a month can do. At Christmas time he was army crawling and almost sitting up all the way. Now, we are chasing after him. He is sitting great, crawling on all fours and pulling himself up. I have a feeling he will be walking by 9 months. Will has also learned how to clap. Every fun new thing he learns brings so much happiness to our lives.

Big Boy Tub Time

Will is now old enough that he doesn't need his infant tub and can now play around in the real tub. Here are some pics of his first night in the real tub.

The New Year!!!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post but a lot of things have happened recently. Mike's mom had a stroke in early December so we spent a couple of weeks visiting her in the hospital and then in the rehab hospital. She is doing quite well now and getting movement back on her right side. We hope that she continues to improve.

We were able to make it into Kansas City for Will's first Christmas. We had a wonderful time and Santa brought Will many great things. Later that night we got a call from our good friends, Dan & Nicki, and were told that Dan's sister Katie was killed in a car accident just hours earlier. Katie was only 20 years old with her whole life ahead of her. Much too young to die. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their entire family.

We rushed back home on Friday and had just made it into town when Mike's mom called and was on her way back to the hospital with high blood pressure.
Sometimes things just spiral out of control and you can't get a hold of life.
Now it is the new year and Mike was just laid off yesterday. I know things could be a lot worse but I also know they can be a lot better. We have so much to be thankful for and hope that the economy starts to turn around.
