The past two weeks have been kind of crappy and happy. Will turned 1 and at the same time can't seem to fight off an ear infection. Here is the lowdown on what has been going on:
Easter 2009--Diagnosed with 1st ear infection and found out allergy to amoxicillian
Wednesday June 10th--Went to Urgent Care in K.C. after a sleepless night and Will was diagnosed with an ear infection in the right ear.
Thursday June 18th--One year check up, ears not infected but still a lot of fluid, finished antibiotic that night
Monday June 22nd--Back to the doctor after another sleepless night, ear infection in the left ear this time, another round of antibiotics
Thursday June 25th--Something is not right, antibiotics are no longer working, full blown double ear infection, right eardrum about to burst, prescribed zithromax and ear drops
Fingers crossed and just watching and waiting. If this doesn't work we will be doing tubes next week. WE DON'T WANT THAT.

I had tubes put in when I was a baby- my mom said it didn't bother me at all to get them put in and I was much happier after they were in!! So if he does have to get tubes, it'll be ok!! Poor little guy- he's too cute and too little to be so uncomfortable!
